Caesars Tourney
Ok, the typing on the blackberry is getting old quick so this one really
will be short. I wil recap this one a lot more when I get home.
The bottom line is there were 79 players total, after alternates were
allowed in during the first hour. Don took one to the junk when his Aces
got cracked by AQ sooooted for a big hit. I also watched Carmen's
deathblow when her pocket 10's met pocket Q's. It sucked because they both
hit their sets too.
I actually made the money!! I finished 6th for 505. The winner was to
take down 2800. I was real happy.
Like I said, I will write more about some key hands and about the locals
trying to push me into a deal I didn't go for.
Today is the Binion's tourney. We are all just about freerolling really
because we swapped 10% before yesterday tourney. That means that Don and
Carmen get 50 each and I this one today costs like 80. Sweet!
Btw, I think yesterday was my day (although some of my early hands would
have you believe the opposite). Me and my buddies headed to the Hard Rock
late night last night. After a few drinks, I decided to play 3 Card Poker,
a table game you find everywhere. I only play the "Pair Plus" and on about
the 4th hand, I hit a straight flush on a 10 dollar bet. That's 40-1
bitches. That's another tidy 400 profit!
Ok, off to play craps after almost 4 hours of sleep. That is a record for
one night in Vegas for me. The tourney lasted for about 6 or 7 hours and I
guess it took a lot out of me.
More later hopefully.

Chris, kickass job in the Caesar's tourney, man! Try as I might, I have still never cashed in a live event in a casino, out of probably 6 or 7 total tries. I've cashed in and won some live holdem events before, but for some reason when I step into the casino, I can never win. Anyways that is really impressive man, nice work. So jealous of you out in Vegas and all.
Good stuff mate! That's karma for being on the wrong end of that mullet.
Nice job, Chris! I hope your luck and skill continue to hold
i never realized how ez 3-card poker was to beat. all it takes is a straight flush. good going out there.
Congrats on the wins. good luck playing craps. I love craps second to poker. I bet right and wrong and usually make a few $$$.
Vegas Vegas Vegas!!!
